Regular Training Programme for Para Sport - Golf
Attendance is on a RSVP basis - existing volunteers under the programme will be accepted into the slot(s) they choose. For new volunteers, our volunteer coordinator will be in touch to confirm your interest to volunteer.
Description of Programme
Persons with disabilities (PwDs) now have greater opportunities to engage in golf thanks to the latest Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on 3 December 2024 by the Singapore Golf Association (SGA), Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC), and Keppel Club. One golf session per month for PwDs will take place over the next three years at Keppel Club, encompassing training, practice, and games. The Singapore Golf Association (SGA) is set to develop a tailored golf curriculum for PWDs where members and coaches of the SGA will help facilitate these sessions.
